A guilty pleasure is said to be something that one likes even though they feel guilty or embarrassed by it . From gorging on chocolate to fancying someone who is not particularly popular. I asked a couple of my friends what their guilty pleasure was, and found that most said they didn’t have one. After much persuasion they finally admitted they did indeed, although I have been warned not to use their names in this article for fear of releasing their secret into the public domain and mortifying them at the same time. One friend told me that her guilty pleasure was smarties. “Smarties”, I replied “What so bad about that”, after all i am partial to an aul smartie or three myself.
